    Arabia Ruska (autumn colours in Finnish) was designed in the ’s, it was the first of the S-model series made in glazed stoneware. It was also the longest in production, and was made until the year

    Because of the long production period the stamps on the bottom of Ruska products vary a lot. If there is no stamp on the bottom of second-hand 1st class Ruska items, it is likely to have worn away from the glazing.

    Arabia Ruska dinnerware is multipurpose, you can use it for cooking, serving, baking, and even freezing! Ruska is dishwasher and microwave safe.

    Ulrika (Ulla) Eleonora Matilda Procopé-Nyman (–) was a Finnish designer of ceramics. Procopé was one of the most prolific Finnish ceramic designers of the Golden Age of Finnish Design. Her designs were produced at large scale by the Arabia company in Finland.[1]

    Procopé's parents were Lieutenant Colonel Aleksander Fredrik Procopé&#;[fi] (–), the commander of the Finnish White Guard (–), and his wife, Karin Maria née Spåre (–).

    Procopé graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts (later known as the Aalto School of Arts) in Helsinki in and entered the Arabia ceramics factory directly after graduating.
