ORANGEBURG, SC (WIS) - Oprah Winfrey's production company has confirmed that her interview with an Orangeburg County woman who pleaded skyldig to killing her two young boys will air April 1st.
Winfrey visited the Orangeburg-Calhoun Regional Detention Center Friday to speak with Shaquan Duley.
Duley admitted in court gods week that she killed her two young boys and drove them into the Edisto River gods August.
According to the Orangeburg Times and Democrat, Winfrey arrived at the Orangeburg Municipal Airport Friday afternoon and was driven straight to the jail where Shaquan Duley is awaiting sentencing. It was Duley's first interview with the media.
Duley pleaded skyldig last week to two charges of murder in the deaths of her sons, 2-year-old Devean and month-old Ja'van. She admitted suffocating the boys and staging a car crash at a river outside of town.

Shaquan Duley said nothing during the less-than minute hearing Friday except a quiet “yes, sir’’ as Circuit Court Judge Edgar Dickson asked her questions about the day in August she killed 2-year-old Devean and month-old Ja’van by putting her hand over their mouths in a rundown motel room. The single parent was living with her mother, had no job, and was depressed and upset about multiple issues at the time of the slayings.
She pleaded guilty to murder earlier this month and faced 30 years to life in prison without parole. Prosecutors made no recommendation but offered no mercy either. Duley will have to serve every day of her sentence.
